Office of Pastoral Outreach

The Office of Pastoral Outreach promotes the Gospel message, the Works of Mercy, Catholic Social Teaching and the Church’s social mission. The Creed says of Jesus: “For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.” The Church sees in every person, the living image of God himself. We affirm that the inherent sacred dignity of the human person, who is made in the image and likeness of God and redeemed by Christ, is the foundation for a moral and just vision for society.
