Group Leaders-Adult Chaperones-Youth
A group is defined as one adult leader with one or more youth participants. No single registrations will be accepted.
Group Leader/Youth Minister: the one person organizing the trip and serving as a contact person for the group. The Group Leader must be an adult who is prepared to attend the conference. Tall correspondence will take place between the Group Leader and the Conference office.
Adult Chaperone: adults (21 years of age and older) must be with the youth throughout the conference, it is necessary that there is at least 1 male adult chaperone for every 10 young men and 1 female adult chaperone for every 10 young women. We realize that there are situations where it may be challenging to find another chaperone, however, the conference staff has found that dual chaperones are imperative, especially in times of ministry and for supervisory reasons.
Youth: the participants in the conference must be entering 9 th ,10 th, 11 th, or 12 th grades in the fall of 2006 or a 2006 high school graduate.
Priests: This year, we are waiving the registration fee (including meals and housing) for priests with the understanding that the priests attending will available to administer the sacrament of Reconciliation at designated times throughout the conference weekend. It is our hope that this will encourage groups to invite priests to attend a youth conference as part of their group.
All priests should be included in the total number of spots requested for the conference. The Group Leader must include the name(s) of the priest(s) attending with his group in advance of the conference and no later than the housing deadline.
Day of Arrival
Please plan to arrive at the Conference Registration check-in between noon and 4pm on July 21, 2006. A group leader and 1 other adult will need to come to the check-in tables. No groups will be admitted with a balance due and no participants will be admitted without a liability form. Each group will receive conference name badges (which must be worn at all times), water bottles, program booklets, conference T-shirts (if pre-purchased) and housing information.
