Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Natural Family Planning Website. You have probably seen our pre-movie advertisements. You may be trying to achieve pregnancy or postpone pregnancy naturally without contraceptives such as the birth-control pill, or perhaps you are seeking to renew your marital intimacy in a new way. Whatever your hopes are, you have come to the right place. Natural Family Planning can help you accomplish any one of these.

You may have heard about Natural Family Planning before. This website is designed to inform you about every aspect of NFP and also dispel and myths that are often associated with it.

Natural Family Planning

Natural Family Planning (or NFP) is a system in which you become aware of the fertile and infertile times of your menstrual cycle, and you act accordingly. If you want to avoid pregnancy, you have marital relations during the infertile times. If you want to become pregnant, through NFP, you know the best days in each cycle for seeking pregnancy.

The Sympto-Thermal Method

This method involves observation of the symptoms of fertility (cervical mucus, and change in the shape and texture of the cervix) as well as the change in basal body temperature. Hence, the "sympto-thermal" method. For further information and to register for a Sympto-Thermal class in your area, call the NFP Hotline at 303-715.3239 (In the Ft. Morgan area call Carolyn Hochanadel at 970-867-5879). NFP Schedule

The Creighton Model of the Ovulation Method

This method relies on a detailed observation of cervical mucus as the main indicator of fertility. There are several Creighton teachers in the area who work on an individual basis. For more information call Connie Navratil at 303-421-4875 or Ellen Moran at 303-987-8187.
