Explanation of the Catholic Engaged Encounter Retreat

This overnight weekend retreat program is offered by a team of married couples and a priest (when available). It is recommended as an important complement to the above class and is an appropriate step for either proximate or immediate preparation.

Scheduled for two days and two nights, CEE offers a weekend retreat setting to challenge, explore, and deepen your relationship. Talks are presented by a team of married couples and a priest who share personal experiences and tools for growth in marriage.

Topics include: self-awareness, communication, mixed faiths, decision making, forgiveness, prayer, family, etc. After each presentation you will be given a series of questions to answer individually in a private letter to your future spouse. You are then given time as a couple to discuss your letters together.
