About the Conference

God has called each and every Catholic - whether single or married, consecrated or lay - to a special mission. Only you can complete it. Do you choose to accept it?

The theme of this year's Living the Catholic Faith Conference is "I have chosen you," based on Gospel Scripture: John 15:16. Keynotes and workshops will offer attendees a variety of reflections on both the challenges and joys felt in answering and then following the will of God.

Keynote speakers include Dr. Tim Gray, president of Denver's Augustine Institute and a nationally renowned expert on biblical history; ValLimar Jansen, a Catholic dramatist renowned for her ability to infuse life back into the Scriptures; and Dr. Janet Smith, one of the Church's leading experts on the beauty of human sexuality, Christian marriage and the secrets to a healthy, happy and holy family.

For a special treat, don't miss Saturday's movie screening of The Human Experience (click for preview), winner of 29 film festival awards. This unforgettable documentary asks the question: "What does it mean to be human?" Discover the timeless story of a band of brothers, searching for answers through a breathtaking adventure around the world. A Q&A Panel Discussion will immediately follow the screening, featuring Producer Joe Campo and lead actor Jeffrey Azize.

The Archdiocese of Denver has negotiated a courtesy block at the Hyatt Regency on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Hyatt Regency is located directly across the street from the Colorado Convention Center.

Take the Light Rail!
We strongly urge attendees to consider taking the RTD light-rail. Light-rail tickets are very affordable (~$4.00 round-trip), and parking is free at any of Park n' Rides.

In addition, the RTD light-rail can drop attendees off at the door of the Colorado Convention Center, at the corner of 14th and Champa St.

The area of town from which you will travel, will determine which line you take. However, all attendees want to eventually board either the Green (D), the Red (F), or the Blue (H) line. All three of these lines will stop in front of the Convention Center.

Parking Options:
Colorado Convention Center:
The Colorado Convention Center provides onsite parking in their 1,000 space parking garage. Tickets cost $10 for the day; tickets must be purchased and validated upon entry. CAUTION: Validation has caused frustration for past attendees due to long lines at automated payment kiosks and elevators; if pressed for time, we strongly suggest alternative options listed below.

For additional information, including a map of parking lot entrances and ticket pricing, click here or visit: http://denverconvention.com/our-center/parking.html

Other Parking Lots:
There are various other street-level parking lots within a two block radius of the convention center. We recommend exploring the dozens of paid parking lots stretching from Champa Street to Tremont Street, all along the 14th and 15th Streets.

All lots average $10 daily rates.
