Mission Statement

The Office of the Archbishop consists of the staff that helps oversee the general daily operations of the Archdiocese on behalf of the Archbishop.  They also assist the Archbishop with the various ministries, pastoral activities and apostolic works he guides.

The staff includes: the Vicar General/Moderator of the Curia, who directs the operations of the archdiocesan curia and chairs the Committee of Vicars and Directors (COVAD); and the Chancellor, who oversees special projects and planning as assigned, and serves as special assistant and senior counselor to the Archbishop.  Also attached to this office is the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council (APC), one of several advisory bodies to the Archbishop. The APC, comprised primarily of laypeople from around the Archdiocese, provides regular counsel to the Archbishop, focusing on the pastoral needs and activities of Catholics in northern Colorado.
