Theology on Tap Ft. Collins: Cultural signs: A Reflection on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body - YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT
7 p.m. C.B. & Potts Clubhouse, 1415 W. Elizabeth, Fort Collins, 80521 Carlyon is an associate professor of Spanish Literature at CSU. He has published a book and several articles on the Enlightenment and Colonial Hispanic Culture. He serves the Blessed John XXIII University Parish as the Faculty Advisory for Campus Ministry. In this capacity, he has taught parish seminars on the Spanish Saints John of the Cross and Josemaría Escrivá, meditations on John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, and Apostolic Friendship on the University Campus. Theology on Tap is a great opportunity for young adults to meet in a comfortable setting, explore their Faith and learn about the everyday ways it affects their lives. Every Theology on Tap offers a chance to learn more about an engaging topic and to experience fellowship with a room full of young adults — all over a frosty mug and a good burger. Theology on Tap was started in 1981 in Chicago and has spread around the world. In the Archdiocese of Denver, there are two Theology on Tap Locations – one in Denver and one in Fort Collins, CO. For more information, please contact Stefania Elsmore with the Office of Young Adult Ministry at (303) 715-3178 or email stefania.elsmore@archden.org. |
