St. Vincent de Paul Parish, a Catholic church near the University of Denver, will be hosting a recital of classical sacred music performed by one of their church's cantors, Kathleen Schmidt, and accompanied on piano and organ by music director Melissa Weidner.

The recital will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church at 2375 E. Arizona Avenue in Denver at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 12th.  This recital is free and open to the public, but donations to the church's music ministry are welcome.

This recital marks the closing of an art exhibition with work by Kathleen Schmidt that has been on display at the church since mid-December.  Artwork may be purchased before or after the recital, and all proceeds from the recital and the sale of artwork will benefit the music ministry at St. Vincent de Paul Church.
