Lector Training Workshop: 4-part series

This Lector Training workshop Series is intended for new and current lectors, and will be held over four consecutive Monday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in Bonfils Hall on the campus of the John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization. An optional night will be available for lector practicum. 

The series schedule is as follows:

• Monday, Jan. 9:
  Fr. John Krenzke – Spiritual Formation for the Lector 
• Monday, Jan. 16:
  Mr. Dan Wyatt – Theology of the Liturgy of the Word with discussion about the history, spirituality and fundamentals of being a lector. 
• Monday, Jan. 23:
  Mr. Dan Wyatt – Lector Practicum
• Monday, Jan. 30:
  Ms. Kathy McGovern – Lectionary Design, Patterns, Rhythms and Relevance 

 

Handouts will be provided. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

Cost is $5 per person (scholarships are available)
