Celebrating the “good” in Good Friday
This Friday, April 6, is known as “Good Friday.” Though the day commemorates Jesus’ brutal crucifixion and death, Christians also celebrate Christ’s death as God’s eternal victory over evil and the finality of our own death.
Through Christ’s crucifixion, the price of our sins was paid for all eternity. The following events and liturgies are a brief sampling of the Catholic observances happening throughout the Archdiocese of Denver.
