Three parishes to offer Neocatechumenal catechesis
By Denver Catholic Register
The Neocatechumenal Way, a Vatican-approved, post-baptismal catechumenate that strives to bring Catholics to mature faith, is offering a free seven- or eight-week catechesis at three local parishes. Two of the sites will present the catechesis in English; one will offer it in Spanish.
Teams, consisting of lay people and often seminarians and a priest, will present the catechesis in English at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Arvada and St. Louis Parish in Louisville. The catechesis will be delivered in Spanish at St. James Parish in Denver.
There is no cost to attend the catechesis, which is open to those 13 and older. Each session lasts one hour. Participants may attend as their schedule permits and may start the catechesis at any session. Free babysitting is provided.
