The Light is ON for you, Denver!
On Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Denver will be open for prayer and confession.
If you haven't been to confession in a while, we hope you'll give it another try. If you've been away from the Church, we hope you'll accept this invitation to come and rediscover the beauty of her sacraments.
What is "The Light is On for You"?
The Light is On for You is a pastoral initiative aimed at increasing awareness and participation in the Sacrament of Penance during the season of Lent. It began in the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. in 2005. Since that time, the Archdiocese of Boston has also begun the program.
The initiative is a diocesan-wide promotion of the Sacrament of Penance, centered around every parish offering the sacrament on the same day during the same time period.
