Inspiring and fun, upcoming events to benefit Catholic schools

Schools throughout the Denver Archdiocese are busily preparing for a host of fundraisers this year needed to provide support and attract new families. Below are some upcoming events local schools are hosting that will benefit Catholic education.
Arrupe Jesuit High School
Open your heart and make a difference for economically disadvantaged students at Arrupe’s fundraiser called “Magis Night.” On Feb. 25, the school will feature it’s first-ever keynote speaker, Mark Sanborn, author of more than a dozen books about leadership, teamwork and customer service. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour followed by dinner and a live auction at the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel, 1550 Court Place. Tickets are $150 per person. Holy Family High School
Celebrate the music of Johnny Cash at the school’s fundraiser this year called “Walk the Line.” Live entertainment, a tuition raffle and dancing will be featured during this benefit April 21 at the Westminster Westin Hotel, 10600 Westminster Blvd. Tickets are $100 per person. Bishop Machebeuf High School

St. Pius X School
Get prepared to roll the dice at St. Pius X’s annual Winterfest called “Monte Carlo Night.” Dress in cocktail attire for this evening of casino games, a buffet dinner, live auction and paddle raising. All Souls School
Listen to the inspirational story of Rich Donnelly, major league baseball coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who will speak about “Faith on the Field.” The fundraiser will include a night of dancing to the music of the Hazel Miller Band, dinner and auctions.
