Letters to Editor: Kudos on DCR’s same-sex coverage Thanks to the Denver Catholic Register for illuminating the issue of civil unions for your readers (“Postcard campaign aims to protect traditional marriage,” Jan. 11 issue; “Q&A: Psychologist explains Church teaching on same-sex attraction,” Jan. 18 issue). I urge you to continue to publish articles related to this topic every week until the battle has been won against same-sex “marriage-lite” in the Colorado Legislature. Are we going to wait around for 40 years like we have with abortion “rights” to wholly understand the full consequences of our actions? There’s ample evidence available today that reveals the harm of same-sex unions (which have led to same-sex marriages in other states). I urge the DCR to continue to explore this issue so that we as Catholics will have formed consciences in order to do God’s battle. Cecelia Joy O’Connor
