Praying for the new Archbishop of Denver
The following prayer reviewed and approved by Most Rev. James D. Conley, S.T.L., now apostolic administrator of Denver, and Msgr. Thomas Fryar, moderator of the curia. Graphic design was provided by Filippo Piccone, production manager of the Denver Catholic Register and El Pueblo Catolico.
Over 10,000 prayer cards have been printed by Egan Printing Company, and are being distributed to parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Denver.

In the Interim:
There will be a time of transition in between Archbishop Chaput's departure and the naming of a new Archbishop for Denver. In the interim, the Vatican has appointed Bishop James D. Conley as apostolic administrator of the Denver Archdiocese.
Prayer for Our New Archbishop
O God, eternal shepherd,
who govern your flock with unfailing care,
grant in your boundless fatherly love
a pastor for your Church of northern Colorado
who will please you by his holiness
and to us show watchful care.
May the bishop given to us by your holy Church
govern with justice,
sanctify your people by his example of holiness
and be an instrument of your divine mercy.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
