Musician Danielle Rose to perform in Broomfield

Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Broomfield will play host to music missionary Danielle Rose 7 p.m. Sept. 2 for a one-night only concert. The public is invited to hear the inspiring work of Rose, who most recently performed at World Youth Day in Madrid, as she brings forward the message of the Gospel through a joyful witness of story and song.
Rose, who also performed at World Youth Day in Toronto, released her first album in 2001 while still a student at the University of Notre Dame. That was followed in quick succession by other releases in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
In 2004, Rose received a blessing from Pope John Paul II when she presented him with her second album, “Mysteries,” a collection of meditations upon the 20 mysteries of the rosary. At that time, she promised the Holy Father, “I am your messenger to the young people to take up the rosary once again.”
Nativity of Our Lord Church is located at 900 W. Midway Blvd. in Broomfield. A freewill offering will be taken to benefit the China Little Flower Orphanage. For details, call 303-469-5171.
