Politics Legislations: Get Involved!
- Catholic Conference of Colorado
The Colorado Catholic Conference, a united voice of the three Catholic dioceses, speaks on public policy issues. Basing its mission on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as particularly expressed in Catholic social teaching and the consistent life ethic, the Conference acts cooperatively in order to insure a dignified and productive life for people of all ages and ethnic groups. The Colorado Catholic Conference interacts with the state legislature, U.S. Congress and elected officials at all levels in numerous ways. Through the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB - www.usccb.org), the Colorado Catholic Conference is also involved in issues at the national level.
