Cyclists raise $12,000 for Samaritan House

Six men came together to participate in the 412-mile Ride the Rockies Bike Tour (from Crested Butte to Georgetown) June 11-17 and raise funds for Catholic Charities’ Samaritan House.

Team Deep Rock, organized by Thomas Schwein, president and CEO of Deep Rock Water Co. and a board member of Catholic Charities, raised $12,000 for the homeless shelter in downtown Denver.

Samaritan House also recently received a $2,000 grant from The Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado from the Sullivan Family Donor-Advised Fund. Since 2008 they have received $62,000 in grants from donor-advised funds.
