Regis, Mullen swimmers and coaches earn honors
The All Colorado Swim Team as well as honors in both 5A and 4A classifications were recently announced and among those awarded were students and coaches from two of Colorado’s Catholic schools.
In Class 5A, Regis Jesuit students Ben Fry, Clark Smith, Zach Suter and Luke Suchomel were all named to the first team. Hennessey Stuart received an honorable mention. Regis Jesuit coach Michael Doherty was named 5A Coach of the Year.
In Class 4A, those named to the first team included J.K. Mullen students P.J. Wickwire, Joey Notarianni, Louis Geist and Brad Belz. David Hoffer received an honorable mention. Mullen coach Kevin Sullivan was named 4A Coach of the Year.
Sullivan was also named Coach of the Year for the 2011 All Colorado Team as were Regis swimmers Fry, Smith, Suter and Suchomel.
