Bishop Martino to lecture on Bishop Machebeuf
Church history professor Bishop Joseph F. Martino will deliver a talk on Denver’s pioneer bishop, Joseph Projectus Machebeuf, 7 p.m. April 5 in Bonfils Hall at the John Paul II Center in south Denver.
Bishop Martino, retired bishop of the Diocese of Scranton, Pa., teaches American Church history at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary. His lecture, “The Legacy of Bishop Machebeuf,” is the latest offering in the Archbishop’s Lecture Series.
