In gratitude I am writing to inform you, (Archbishop Chaput), that the sum of $103,426 which you sent to the Apostolic Nunciature as the 2007 Peter’s Pence offering from the Archdiocese of Denver has been duly transmitted to the Holy See. This donation will be recorded in the 2008 Obolo di San Pietro Report of the Secretariat of State. His Holiness deeply appreciates this support for the works of his ministry. He knows that it reflects your people’s communion with the Successor of Peter, and he asks God to reward you with the gifts of his love.
