Bishop Machebeuf High School gets donations
Bishop Machebeuf High School announced last week it has received a $250,000 gift for its “Building on a Tradition of Excellence” capital campaign from Ed and Marsha Routzon. This gift supports the financial aid and scholarship program, campus improvements and educational programs.
In addition, last month the school received a $49,000 teacher salary assistance grant from The Catholic Foundation. This grant helps the school to provide a just wage to its teachers. Located at 458 Uinta Way in the Lowry of Denver, Bishop Machebeuf High School is an accredited, coeducational, college preparatory, Roman Catholic high school. It was founded in 1958 by the Archdiocese of Denver.
Machebeuf principal Jessie Skipwith said the school will benefit enormously from the gifts.
“We are so grateful,” he said.
