Parish Lenten Meals Offered
During the season of Lent, many parishes are hosting fish fries or soup suppers on Friday enenings. The following is a partial list of some of the Lenten meals being offered in the archdiocese.
Lenten Days of Recollection
Stations of the Cross: and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at Our Lady of the Pines, 9444 Eagle Cliff Road, Conifer. Services preceded by alternate soup supper or fish dinner each week. Call 303-838-0338 for details.
Fridays during Lent:
Dinner 5:30 p.m.
Services 7 p.m.
Boasting: the "Best Fish in Town," the annual fish fry returns to St. Thomas More Church, 8035 S. Quebec St., Centennial through March 26. Dine in or take out. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 kids (age 5 - 12) kids under four eat free.
Fridays: 4:45 p.m. - 7 p.m.
St. Catherine of Siena: is inviting the public to their weekly fish fry dinners. The menu includes baked or fried fish, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, bread, lemonade and coffee. Cost of the diner is only $8 for adults, $7 for seniors/students and a special $4 fish stick meal for the children. The weekly dinner will be held in the Msgr. Jones Center in the basement of the church, 4200 Federal Blvd., Denver.
Fridays: 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church: 3549 Navajo St., Denver will be serving a delicious meal of homemade soup and bread during Lent and invites the public to come be part of the evening. The meal will served prior to Stations of the Cross. A free will offering will be appreciated. The soup supper will not be held on March 19 or March 26.
Fridays: Meal 5:30 p.m.
Stations 7 p.m.
A Series: of programs and soup suppers will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center, 904 14th St., Boulder, Friday's during Lent. The evening will consist of Mass, Stations of the Cross, dinner and program. There is no cost to attend. Come One, Come All: to the Lenten Fish Fry, sponsored by Knights of Columbus at St. Michael the Archangel church, 19099 E. Floyd Aver., Aurora. Delicious deep fried fish with all the fixings through March 26. Call 303-690-6797 for more information.
Fridays: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Knights of Columbus: Council 7640 to offer a fish fry at Christ on the Mountain Parish, 13922 W. Utah Aver., Lakewood Friday's during Lent. Cost of the meal is $8 adults, $4 for children.
Fridays: Meal 5 p.m.
Stations 7:30 p.m.
Fish Dinner: at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish , 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Baked and breaded fish, shrimp, salmon, rolls and beverages served Friday’s through March 26. Cost is $8 adult, $4 for kids. Stations of the Cross will immediately follow dinner.
Fridays: Meal 4:30 p.m. Stations 7 p.m.
Community Fish Fry: sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council 3434 Friday’s during Lent through Apr. 2 at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 1720 W. 12th St., Loveland. Dinners begin at $5 and there will also be a free meatless pasta bar for the kids. Stations of the Cross will follow each meal.
Fridays: Meal 5 p.m. Stations 7 p.m.
Sts. Peter and Paul Parish: 3900 Pierce St., Wheat Ridge once again hosts their annual soup supper during Lent running through March 26. There is no cost but donations are welcome.

Stations 7 p.m.
Come Hungry: to fish fry at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Aver., Littleton. Every Friday through March 26. Menu includes baked or fired fish, French fries or rice, cole slaw and beverage. Admission is $8.50 adult, $4.50 for children ages 5 to 12, kids under 5 eat free.
Fridays: Meal 5 p.m.
Stations 7 p.m.
Annual Fish Fry: hosted by Knights of Peter Claver & Ladies Auxiliary during Lent through March 26 at Cure d'Ars Parish Center, 4701 Martin Luther King Blvd., Denver. The $9 dinner includes whole catfish plus two sides, bread and dessert. Take out orders are available by calling 720-530-3279.
Fridays: 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Knights of Columbus: Council 5064 to host fish fry every Friday during Lent at the Shrine of St. Anne Church, 7555 Grant Place, Arvada. Admission is $7 adults, $6 seniors.
