Mission Statement

The Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs works toward “full visible communion of all Christians” as called for by the Second Vatican Council in Unitatis Redintegratio, the Decree on Ecumenism. The office also develops relationships with non-Christian religions according to the Second Vatican Council’s Nostra Aetate, the Declaration on the Relation of the Church with non-Christian religions.
