Mission Statement

The Vicariate for Clergy assists the archbishop in matters pertaining to the assignment, welfare and spiritual development of priests and deacons. The vicar acts as the liaison for the archbishop with the Priests' Retirement Committee and the Presbyteral Council and is responsible for the implementing of recommendations from these groups which are accepted and promulgated by the archbishop. The vicar also oversees the Offices of Vocations, Continuing Education of Priests, and the Diaconate.
