Father Woody Wrap Party set Dec. 19
Regis University will conduct its final Father Woody Wrap Party in December to provide gifts to those less fortunate. The Wrap Party is set from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Sheraton Hotel, 1550 Court Place in Denver.
The Father Woody Wrap Party is a Regis University tradition in which hundreds of new gifts are donated and then gift-wrapped to be given to homeless residents at the Father Woody Christmas Party. It’s a program created by Msgr. C.B. Woodrich and maintained in his memory since his death in 1991.
Event organizer Victoria McCabe notes that although volunteers are still needed for the Dec. 19 Wrap Party, the volunteer registration has closed for the Father Woody Christmas Party.
In addition, the Regis University Alumni for Others Cookie Project is seeking 5,000 cookies for the Father Woody Christmas Party meal. The cookies will be served for dessert. Cookies can be delivered to the Alumni Office in Main Hall, Room 326.
Contact McCabe at vmccabe@ regis.edu or at 303-458-3572.
