Influenza Precautions

Oct. 18, 2010 - The Archdiocese of Denver's Office of Liturgy closely monitors the current, local situation regarding the H1N1 [Swine Flu] Influenza, in conjunction with Colorado's Center for Disease Control and other local health departments. Precautions are in place if and when the Archbishop of Denver, based upon the recommendation of his Pandemic Committee as well as that of the Colorado Center for Disease Control, deems such action necessary.

Parishes asked to continue to follow precautionary guidelines specified in summer months
Oct. 18, 2010 - In the summer of 2009, Archbishop Chaput provided precautionary guidelines to his local clergy in hopes of contributing to state-wide efforts to avoid transmission of the H1N1 [Swine Flu] Virus in Colorado. These guidelines continue to apply for all archdiocesan parishes. Should the Archbishop of Denver decide, based upon the recommendation of his Pandemic Committee as well as that of the Colorado Center for Disease Control, that additional guidelines are needed, he will alert parishes via the usual methods of communication with his presbyterate.
