April 25, 2013 - Most. Rev. Samuel J. Aquila, Archbishop of Denver, has appointed Very Rev. Scott Traynor, a priest of the Diocese of Sioux Falls, South Dakota to serve as Rector of the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary beginning in December 2013. He will succeed Msgr. Michael Glenn who was named rector in 2001.

Feb. 27, 2013 -- On Thursday, Feb. 28, the Archdiocese of Denver will give thanks for the papacy of Benedict XVI with a Holy Hour and Mass of Thanksgiving at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 1530 Logan St., Denver, Colo., 80203.

The United States Council of Catholic Bishops is inviting all Catholics to pray for Benedict XVI, the College of Cardinals, and for the new pope.
