All women invited to conference
The first national Handmaids of the Lord Conference will be held on Sept. 25-27 in Denver. The conference is expected to draw 400 HOLD members from across the country. It will consist of talks and fellowship. All women are invited to participate.
Handmaids of the Lord is a Christian renewal and support ministry for mature women, such as single parents and widows, separated women and unmarried, mature women. It is a ministry of the Catholic organization, Couples for Christ.
Founded in 1981 in the Philippines, Couples for Christ has grown into a worldwide ministry, in over 160 countries. In Colorado the organization was accredited by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., on March 30, 2007, and is headquartered at Queen of Peace Parish in Aurora
