"Frequently Asked Questions" about my subscription:
Beginning in September of 2010, the Denver Catholic Register began participating in a new home carrier delivery system for most subscribers living within the Denver and surrounding metro area. The newspaper is now delivered on Wednesdays, in its own bag, through the Denver Post LLC carrier system, which also services the delivery of The Denver Post. To learn more about these changes, please click here.
Q: I want to change the place where the newspaper carrier drops my paper each week. What are my options?
A: The Denver Post LLC carrier system offers subscribers a variety of "special requests" options that can be made to their standard home carrier delivery. Special request delivery options include:
- Place newspaper in the tube provided next to mailbox
- Place newspaper on driveway
- Place newspaper outside garage door
- Place newspaper on front porch
- Place newspaper directly outside front door
- Handicapped - special delivery
- Other special request options may be available!
To request any of the special delivery options listed above, or to inquire about others, contact the Denver Catholic Register by phone at 303-715-3211 or by e-mail at circulation@archden.org.
***Please note that special requests must be applied to our database before 2 p.m. on Tuesdays in order to take effect for that week's issue. Special requests made after 2 p.m. on Tuesdays will not take effect until the following week's edition.
Q: How do I start and stop delivery when I go on vacation?
A: To stop the carrier home delivery for the Register, please contact the Register’s circulation department at 303-715-3211 or by e-mail at circulation@archden.org. The Denver Post does not manage the Register’s subscriber list, so if you also subscribe to the Denver Post, and have called their offices to place a vacation stop on your subscription, please note that you must still also call the Register for the same hold to apply to your subscription to the Denver Catholic Register.
***Please note that any vacation starts and stops applied to our databases before 2 p.m. on Tuesday will take effect the following day, for that week's issue. Starts and stops requested after 2 p.m. on Tuesdays will not take effect until the following week's edition. The Register is delivered each week on Wednesday mornings.
Q: My address has changed. How do I update my subscription?
A: Contact the Denver Catholic Register, by phone at 303-715-3211 or by e-mail at circulation@archden.org. Please submit both the old address to be deleted, and the new mailing address to be added to your subscription account.
Q: The name on my account has changed. How do I update my subscription?
A: Contact the Denver Catholic Register, by phone at 303-715-3211 or by e-mail at circulation@archden.org. Please specify the name under which your subscription is currently registered, in addition to the new name for your subscription account.
Q: I have changes to my subscription that are not mentioned above. How do I update my subscription?
A: If you have any questions or have other changes your subscription, please contact the Denver Catholic Register, by phone at 303-715-3211 or by e-mail at circulation@archden.org.
Q: I don’t subscribe to The Denver Post. Will the Denver Catholic Register still be delivered to me through carrier home delivery?
A: Beginning in September of 2010, the Denver Catholic Register began participating in a new home carrier delivery system for most subscribers living within the Denver and surrounding metro area. The newspaper is now delivered on Wednesdays in its own bag through The Denver Post LLC carrier system, which also services the delivery of The Denver Post.
Even if you don’t receive The Denver Post, the Denver Catholic Register will still be delivered by carriers to homes within eight counties, specifically including 109 zip codes within Denver, Arapahoe, Adams, Jefferson, Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Douglas counties.

Q: If I live in an apartment, where will my Register be delivered?
A: The standard newspaper delivery location for apartments is in front of the subscriber’s door. However, this may vary depending on the carrier’s access to the apartment building. If you do not receive your Register at your apartment door, please ask your apartment manager where newspaper deliveries are typically made in your building.
Q: Currently, the Register goes to my Post Office Box. Will my newspaper continue to be mailed?
A: Yes. The Register will continue to be mailed to Post Office boxes. If you live in one of the above zip codes and wish to have the Register delivered to your home via carrier, please contact the Register’s circulation department by phone at 303-722-4687 or by e-mail at circulation@archden.org.
Q: I would rather receive my newspaper via U.S. mail, rather than through the new home carrier delivery system? Can I do that?
A: The cost to mail is significant and is expected to eventually rise in 2011. Before considering the switch to U.S. mail, we invite our readers to explore the various "special requests" that can be made to the standard home carrier delivery.
Q: None of the "special request" options listed above meet my needs. I still wish to have my subscription mailed to me, rather than delivered by home carrier delivery. How do I make the switch?
A: We invite you to JOIN THE MISSION and pay an annual subscription cost to help defray the cost of producing - and mailing - the newspaper. The annual subscription cost for Colorado residents is $35 per year and for out-of-state subscribers, $42 a year.
To "Join The Mission," or for more information about our JOIN THE MISSION CAMPAIGN, visit www.archden.org/join, call 303-715-3215 or e-mail info@archden.org. Please note that for those readers who are unable to pay the subscription rate but still wish to have the Register mailed, our office will establish a complimentary mail program for a limited number of households.
Q: I live in a rural area. Do the recent changes to the Denver Catholic Register's delivery program apply to my subscription?
A: As of 2010, those subscribers living in rural areas will continue to receive the newspaper in the mail. The Register staff will be working with pastors in the areas not covered by carrier delivery throughout 2011 to establish an effective parish delivery system in order to reduce the number of newspapers that are mailed.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: We are sorry to see you go. If you would like to cancel your subscription to the Denver Catholic Register, you may submit requests by phone at 303-715-3211 or by e-mail at circulation@archden.org.
***Please note that permanent cancellations take at least one week to process through the system; we update our database on a weekly basis on Tuesdays. Cancellation requests submitted before 2 p.m. on Tuesday will not take effect until the following week's edition.
