Editorial Submission Guidelines
- Items run on a space available basis
- There is no guarantee of publication
- Pertinent details needed: who, what, when, where, why and a contact name and number
- Please use proper capitalization (do not use all caps), punctuation and grammar
- Preferred manner of text submission is a Word document submitted via e-mail
- Typed or neatly printed submissions may be faxed or mailed
- Photos: submit either hard copies or digital images (jpg); digital photos should be 4 inches wide at a resolution of 200 dpi
- Information must be received at least 10 days prior to desired publication date
- Story ideas should be pitched at least two weeks prior to the event
Photos and stories become the property of the Denver Catholic Register and will not be returned
Letters to the Editor
Letters to the Editor should be no more than 250 words and should include: the writer’s name, address and telephone number. We rely on our readers to recognize that the opinions expressed in letters to the editor are those of the author and are not necessarily those of the Archdiocese of Denver. Letters containing plainly misstated facts, misinformation or libelous statements will not be printed. Unsigned letters will not be printed. Letters will be edited. Bulletin Board Guidelines
- The Bulletin Board is a free service
- Items run on a space available basis
- There is no guarantee of publication
- Catholic events or groups receive priority
- Items cannot be expected to appear in the Bulletin Board more than once
- Pertinent details needed: who, what, when, where, why and a contact name and number
- Items must be typed or neatly printed (flyers are acceptable)
- Please use proper capitalization (do not use all caps), punctuation and grammar
- Indicate highest priority event (highlight or star)
- Mail, fax or e-mail submissions (no telephone calls)
- Items must be received at least 10 days prior to desired publication date
