Hundreds participate in special rites in final steps toward becoming Catholic

“I can’t believe I’ll be part of all these people who are becoming Catholic.” These words of Belinda Evans, who attends Spirit of Christ Parish in Arvada, were heard often as catechumens and candidates from across the Archdiocese of Denver entered the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver on the first two Sundays of Lent to celebrate the Rite of Election and the Call to Continuing Conversion.
