Insight
Insight is a program of education and discernment for men 18 and older considering a vocation to the priesthood. Sponsored by the Office of Priestly Vocations, Insight offers prayer, education and community.
Insight introduces the rich traditions of Catholic prayer and encourages men to walk with God the Father in discernment. Contact with seminarians provides first-hand experience of the discernment and formation process and offers the opportunity to speak openly about personal interest in a priestly vocation.
Insight conducts monthly meetings held at the John Paul II Center, 1300 S. Steele St. in Denver, which consist of Mass in Christ the King Chapel, discussion and night prayers. These meetings are scheduled from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Jan. 22, Feb. 19, Mar. 12, April 20 and May 6.
In addition, Insight retreats are set for Feb.15 and March 15 at the John Paul II Center. At these discernment retreats, seminarians talk about their experience in religious life. There will be morning prayer, adoration and meals. The days conclude with Mass celebrated by the archbishop at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
