Legislative wrap-up June 26 at John Paul II Center
A recap of the recent legislative session and a preview of what one might expect in the November elections is scheduled 7-8:30 p.m. June 26 in Rooms 123 and 125 at the John Paul II Center, 1300 S. Steele St., in Denver.
Speakers will include Jim Tatten, director of the Colorado Catholic Conference and lobbyist for the five bishops of Colorado, and Mary Boland, vice president of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver.
Representatives from La Rasa will be present to register those currently unregistered to vote. They will also provide information and applications for absentee ballots.
Refreshments will be served.
