AHCI holds annual Spring Fling for seniors
Archdiocesan Housing Committee, Inc., held it's annual Spring Fling event for seniors at the Police Protection Association building May 19. More than 200 residents and guests from six AHCI metro-area senior plazas attended. RTD Senior Ride provided transportation. The evening featured music and dancing. Entertaining skits were performed by AHCI residents and staff.
An award was presented to AHCI Board Member Cathy O'Grady, who has given countless hours to seniors in their homes through the Visiting Nurse Association. Additional awards were given to senior residents who have contributed numerous volunteer hours to enhance the quality of their senior community. Cash awards, gift certificates and televisions were among the prizes donated by generous benefactors and given away at the event.
