76th annual Council of Catholic Women convention June 2-3
Speakers to discuss `Prayer and Work in the Modern World' at St. Malo

All women of the archdiocese are invited to attend the 76th annual Convention of Catholic Women on Sunday and Monday, June 2-3 at St. Malo Retreat Center in Allenspark.
"Prayer and Work in the Modern World" is the convention theme. Outstanding speakers include CCW spiritual director Father James Kleiner (who will also celebrate noon Mass on Sunday), Roxanne King, editor of the Denver Catholic Register, Father Patrick Tierney, Marge Meis-White, Sister Agnes Ann Gardt, S.C., and Esther Velasquez, province director.
The Northern Colorado Area is hostess under the leadership of Gerri Miller, Mary Jane Begalle, Gene Schelley and Alice Ann Pilkington.
Registration on Sunday is from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Convention will open at 10 a.m. and will conclude with a banquet and entertainment.
Continental breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday prior to reconvening of the convention at 9:30 a.m. Luncheon at noon will be followed by installation of new officers and scholarship awards before adjournment at 2 p.m.
Registration is $80 and includes all meals.

Two representatives for voting purposes are expected from each affiliate. All women of the archdiocese are invited to attend to share and learn what others are doing.
