Faith and Unity Celebration Feb. 10

Father Bryan Massingale, an associate professor of moral theology at St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee, Wis., will be the keynote speaker at the Denver Council for Black Catholics' annual Faith and Unity Celebration Feb. 22-24.

Father Massingale is the author of numerous articles focusing on Catholic social teaching and racial justice. He will speak on "The Culture Divide and its Pastoral Implications" at an all-day workshop Feb. 23 at St. Ignatius Loyola Church. Father Massingale's presentation is part of DCBC's continuing preparation for the National Black Catholic Congress gathering in August. Everyone is invited.

Activities for the Faith and Unity event include an evening reception Feb. 22 at the Hue-Man bookstore.

Father Massingale will be the main celebrant for the closing Liturgy 11 a.m. Feb. 24 at Cure d'Ars Church.
