Notice from the Office of the Archbishop
The Archbishop of Denver, the Most Reverend Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., concerned about the confusion surrounding the Catholic Community of the Transfiguration, wishes to bring to the attention of the faithful of the Archdiocese of Denver that this community, and the Diocese of Christ the King, and the Independent American Catholic Church, are not affiliated with the Roman Catholic Rite, nor with the Archdiocese of Denver. The Archbishop brings this to the attention of the faithful to avoid confusion and scandal among its members. He encourages all Christ's faithful to continue to be faithful in the practice of their faith and vigilant to attend those local parish churches which are in communion and sanctioned by the Archdiocese of Denver.
