Archdiocese to offer web course on Dominus Iesus

The Archdiocese of Denver will offer its third online course May 11 through June 29 on Dominus Iesus, which was released September 2000.

Participants will study the document and discover its harmony with Vatican II and with Pope John Paul II's most recent apostolic letter, Novo Millennio Ineunte (At the Beginning of the New Millennium). Catholics who study these new documents will gain insight to the Holy Father's desire for Christian unity and commitment to interfaith dialogue.

The course is offered in conjunction with jonesknowledge.com. Cost is $55. Registration begins April 20 through an online link with Jones. Bill Beckman, ecumenical and interfaith officer for the archdiocese, is the instructor. Students will earn 12 hours credit from the Catechetical School.

Previous courses included students from across the U.S. and Australia.
