Catholic Charities' annual Irish coffee

Benefit event features

traditional Irish fare, music

Enjoy traditional Irish fare and entertainment at Catholic Charities' annual "Irish Coffee Luncheon," 11:30 a.m. March 16 at the refectory at the John Paul II Center, 1300 S. Steele St., Denver.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Catholic Charities' programs working with pregnant women, teen pregnancy counseling and parenting preparation.

The event begins with a social hour followed by lunch at noon. Lunch includes corned beef or salmon, cabbage, potatoes, Irish coffee and cookies. (Archbishop Charles Chaput has given a dispensation to those attending the event, organizers said.) Irish entertainment will follow at 1 p.m. Cost: $35 per person.
