Father Fortuna is back
Friar to lead St. Thomas More Parish Mission
St. Thomas More Parish in Englewood is sponsoring a Parish Mission directed by Father Stan Fortuna, C.F.R., 7 p.m. March 26-29.
The mission theme is "So I'm a Third Millennium Catholic." A different topic will be explored each night: March 26, "So What About The Church?"; March 27, "So What About The Sacraments?"; March 28, "So What About Mary?" March 28 also includes a closing Mass dedicated to the Blessed Mother. Topic March 29 is "So What About Relationships?" Confession will be available March 29.
Father Fortuna is a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal from Bronx, N.Y. He has a full-time preaching apostolate and has led retreats and missions nationally and internationally for both young and old. When not on the road, Father Fortuna works with the poor in the South Bronx. An established musician, composer and recording artist, he established Francesco Productions, (francescoproductions.com), a nonprofit record company which, to date, has recorded a dozen CDs.
