Mission Statement

The Office of Social Ministry serves as the archbishop's liaison to Catholic Charities. The office also serves as the local contact for the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops' (USCCB) Office of Social Development and World Peace, the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) and Catholic Relief Services (CRS).

The office advances the social mission of the church by providing educational and formational materials on the Catholic social teaching and those programs and organizations that respond directly to the church's social mission.
