Logo Design: Structure

This logo represents the Archdiocese of Denver. By incorporating the new typographic structure with the redrawn version of the official crest of the Archdiocese, we have established a clean, crisp logo that associates a strong degree of elegance and authority with all offices within and associated with the Archdiocese of Denver.

While the size of this logo will vary, depending on the context within which it is used, the proportions of the logo should always remain the same. The text should always be approximately 45 percent smaller than the logo when they are used together.

Regarding placement, the top of the text should always align with the widest point of the crest. If the sizes provided in this guide are insufficient for a particular promotional piece or other desired usage, please contact the office of communications for assistance for your project.

Finally, it is also important to note that the letterspacing in this logo has been customized for the optimum visual cohesiveness of the whole logo. Designers should never recreate the logo by simply retyping the text and placing the crest next to it.
