Eucharistic processions to mark Feast of Corpus Christi |

May 17, 2008 - At 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception will host the annual Archdiocesan Mass and Eucharistic Procession in celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. All the faithful in the Archdiocese are invited and encouraged to attend this Mass and procession as public witness to the Catholic belief in the true presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

Archdiocese of Denver to ordain two men to priesthood |

At 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 in the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Most Rev. Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., will ordain two men to the Catholic priesthood: Deacon Enrique Salazar Munoz, 29, and Deacon Miljenko Pavkovic, 36. The ordination ceremony will complete eight years of formation at Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary in Denver. Click here to read a media release about the ordination.

Library's icon exhibit nearing its final weeks |
 | | April 20, 2008 - The Cardinal Stafford Library invites patrons to visit their ongoing exhibit, “Icons: Windows Into Heaven.” The exhibit, scheduled to conclude May 12, features hand-made icons, designed according to the ancient prototypes of the Russian Byzantine style.
