Scholarship funds are available for students requesting tuition assistance from the Director of the Catechetical School.
Certificate courses: All certificate courses are $25 per person per course. Each complete course is 6 hours in length. Classes may be offered at one 6-hour session, or two 3-hour sessions, or even three 2-hour sessions but there is still only one course involved, therefore one price. Many parishes and schools offer tuition assistance for their parishioners and/or teachers. Check with the Host Site Coordinator, your Director of Religious Education, or your school's Principal to find out what might be available to you. Parishes and Catholic schools are invited to propose or request additional courses to the schedule throughout the year. One of these six-hour courses makes an ideal in-service day for catechists and/or Catholic school educators. The Catechetical School awards certificates to parish catechists and Catholic School teachers for successfully completing a specified list of courses, called certification. Watch for news of our annual summer school programs in the Denver Catholic Register. May God bless your desire and effort to better know, love, and serve Him, through registering for these classes. Advanced studies courses: All Advanced studies courses are $200 per person per semester. Classes are offered on a semester format, either Fall or Spring. Each complete course is 12 weeks long. Classes meet once a week for 2 hours, making each course 24 hours in length. There is a special form and an additional fee for college credit for these courses. That fee is paid directly to Regis University. A minimum of two semesters must be completed with a minimum 'C' passing grade to obtain college credit.
