What is a Freshman College Leader?
A young person who has graduated from high school and wants an opportunity to be a Young Apostle in a servant role, by serving the Young Apostle Captains and the other teens. It is an opportunity for young people to continue to develop and grow in servant leadership skills.
What is the responsibility of the Freshman College Leader?
Your primary responsibility is to serve the Young Apostle Captains. This can mean anything from going to the store for supplies to cleaning up after dinner. You are called to be an example to the young people serving as Young Apostles.
Who can serve as a Freshman College Leader?
- someone who has finished their freshman year of college or graduated from high school in 2006.
- has served as a Young Apostle.
- is currently involved in reaching out to teens.
- is willing to pay the Young Apostle fee and travel expenses as well as go where we need them to serve.
What is the cost?
The cost of being a Young Apostle College Leader for the Steubenville of the Rockies Conference is $240.00. This price includes a week’s worth of training, your conference registration, housing, meals, snacks, leadership training, special materials, activities, and a Young Apostle T-shirt.
