The following itinerary details the schedule of events surrounding Bishop-elect Conley’s May 30 ordination. Most events are open to the public, though early arrival is always recommended due to limited seating.

Please note, however, that due to limited seating, the ordination ceremony itself is classified as "By Invitation Only." Please be sure to visit this Web site following the ceremony for full video coverage and audio recording of the liturgy.

Solemn Vespers Service
(Sung evening prayer)
Seating: A certain number of reserved seats will be allocated to Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, Abbots, Priests, Religious & Deacons and their wives, as well as to Bishop-elect Conley's immediate family. Open seating for all other members of the faithful will begin at 5:30 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis. Early arrival is strongly recommended.

9:00 p.m.
Eucharistic Adoration

Seating: All interested parties are welcome and invited to join together in prayer for Bishop-elect Conley, his approaching ordination, Archbishop Chaput, and the entire Archdiocese of Denver. The chapel comfortably seats approximately 200 people; standing room will also be available.

Description: Various entities from throughout the Archdiocese of Denver will assist in leading prayerful reflections before the Blessed Sacrament. Eucharistic Adoration will conclude at midnight with solemn benediction.

Public Reception following Mass

This public reception will directly follow Bishop-elect Conley's Mass of Thanksgiving. The reception center is located just two blocks west of the Cathedral, and therefore within walking distance for those coming from the cathedral.
